GENERAL CARE

Each piece of our jewelry is handcrafted using high-quality materials and vintage laces. Although delicate by nature, our pieces are not fragile — and that's exactly what makes them so special!

Treat your textile jewelry with the same care you would give any delicate clothing item, and you will enjoy wearing it for a long time.

Our pieces can come into contact with water and are even hand washable. If a piece gets very wet, simply lay it flat to dry. However, we do not recommend wearing our jewelry in the shower, as repeated exposure to running water may cause the textile to stretch or eventually become damaged.

STORAGE & CLEANING

If your piece needs washing, you can easily hand wash it:

Place it in a bowl of warm or cold water with a little mild soap and gently clean it. Leave it for up to 10 minutes, then rinse if necessary.

Always dry your piece flat, on a white or neutral-colored towel.

You can also iron your textile jewelry at a low temperature, placing a white or neutral-colored cotton cloth between the iron and the piece. A little spray starch can help restore its original shape and appearance.

Avoid storing your pieces hanging, as this may cause them to stretch over time. We recommend keeping each textile jewel separate from the others to prevent tangling and save you time when you're getting ready.

When wearing necklaces, be careful with zippers on winter coats and similar garments, as they can catch on the textile.

For earrings: We recommend using the earring backs included with every order. Because our earrings are so lightweight, you may sometimes forget you're wearing them — especially when putting on or taking off scarves in winter! To help extend their life, we also recommend removing your earrings before going to bed.

And YES! Even our largest earrings are so lightweight that they won't weigh down your earlobes. You'll be grateful at the end of the day!

For metal fittings and chains, gently wipe the surface with a jewelry polishing cloth from time to time.

Avoid spraying perfume or any other alcohol-based products directly onto metal components, as this may affect their finish or color.

ALLERGIES AND METAL SENSITIVITIES

Our collection is very much appreciated by customers with metal allergy because is fiber and not metal!

We have some pieces assembled with metal links but some others are pure fiber with just a metallic clasp. We did occasionally customizations removing clasps, so that you don't have any metal component. This can be done in specific long necklaces only. Email us if you would need a customization in this regard.

Majority of our metal parts in the collection are made with nickel free brass, sometimes silver or gold plated, and sterling silver or gold filled, therefore, allergy free.

We are more than 20 years on business and we had two or three allergy cases that we resolved by customizing the metal parts to the customer.

In any case, allergies are very random, come and goes, and it can happen to anyone, even for just a short life period. If you are that sensible, or if you need additional assistance or advice, please contact us to discuss options/customizations.
