PHILOSOPHY
Inspiration
My work begins with a gesture — the lightness of a body in motion, the quiet freedom of dance. Each piece is handcrafted from high-fashion European textiles and vintage lace, materials that carry memory, history, and touch. Worn on the body, they blend seamlessly with it, revealing softness, rhythm, and texture — the essence of Paz Sintes Textile Jewelry.
There is something both nostalgic and contemporary in these designs — a dialogue between past and present, where vintage fragments are transformed into modern, ethereal forms. Feminine, playful, and subtly striking, this jewelry exists somewhere between garment and ornament, as if it had always belonged to the body.

Born from a European sensibility shaped by journeys and migrations, these pieces are made to travel — light, adaptable, and intimate companions. They invite a different relationship with jewelry: one that moves away from weight and permanence, and instead embraces movement, emotion, and presence.
In this way, each creation becomes more than an accessory — it becomes a fleeting gesture, a trace of motion, something to be felt as much as seen. Effortlessly transitioning from casual sophistication to elevated elegance, each fiber jewelry piece evokes weightlessness as a new form of jewelry statement.
Techniques
My process begins with the development of sculptural forms through hand-cut patterns. Each piece is constructed primarily through hand-stitching, with select use of machine stitching where needed for structure and precision.
The work undergoes a sequence of specialized textile techniques, including hand-dyeing and painting, coating, reinforcing, stiffening, sealing, and heat-finishing. Edges are carefully treated through processes such as burnishing or searing to ensure durability and refinement. Additional methods include laser cutting, hand-weaving, crocheting, and detailed assembly.
Materials—often delicate and intricate—are individually manipulated and stabilized through these processes, allowing them to hold form while maintaining flexibility and lightness.
Each motif is crafted by hand, and variations in technique and material treatment ensure that no two pieces are ever identical. The outcome is a series of technically complex works produced in limited quantities or as one-of-a-kind pieces.
